            The Life Journey of Charles IV – Fourteen Stations


            The exhibition presents Charles IV not only as a strong-minded politician, but also as an 
            everyday concerns similar to the people of today. And the same as everyone, he has certain

            traits, sometimes helping him resolve his life situation, at other times complicating it. 
            Charles IV is a historic ?gure which can see the outside world in a wider context, using h
            literacy to ful?ll his statesman’s and dynastic concepts. The exhibition comprises of 14 t

            (referring to the fourteen stations of the cross) and one introductory panel on which the 
            Emperor Charles IV deposits the holy remains into the reliquary at Karlštejn Castle.
