14 May 2016 — 31 August 2016
Cloister, Carolinum
Tue – Sun | 10 am – 6 pm
Organised in collaboration with the National Gallery in Prague, the exhibition seeks an answer to the question how the personality of Charles IV was perceived over the centuries following his death. In the long-term perspective, not only his statesman’s and political legacy will be reviewed but also the historical and cultural ones. Nonetheless, the primary goal is to give the visitors an opportunity to admire the most interesting exhibits related to Charles IV. The exhibition will also offer school programmes.
