At the seminar with the title Tradition of Burgundy Wine Growing and Drinking in the Czech Lands from the Middle Ages Up to Now, experts will present papers encapsulating in a comprehensive form the historic scope of the arrival and growing of Burgundy’s cultivars in the context of wine growing in Bohemia and Moravia. The speeches will be delivered by Czech and French wine experts. Wine presentation in the prestigious rooms of Carolinum will follow the seminar. As part of the event, the book, Charles IV and Burgundy Wine. Tradition of Burgundy Wine Growing and Drinking in the Czech lands from the Middle Ages Up to Now, will be launched. The book consists of contributions by distinguished experts in history, oenology, and vineyard farming. The event will take place under the auspices of the Wine-Growers’ Fund of the Czech Republic.
